As a DevOps Engineer, you will work as part of a team implementing best-practice AWS and/or GCP solutions for our products, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance tools that support business operations

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure, high-performance infrastructure supporting business operations.
- Gather and analyze business requirements to determine the best structures to implement new tools.
- Ensure infrastructure is optimized for cost-effectiveness and performance.
- Collaborate with software developers to ensure existing products are working at peak performance and according to industry standards.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD procedures.
- Manage database systems and implement data integration with stakeholders.
- Articulate the needs of different departments regarding their code infrastructure and sponsor improvements when needed.
- Ensure data compliance standards are met at any moment as well as data integrity.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in maintaining, improving, designing, and developing software infrastructures.
- Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient IT solutions.
- Experience in database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL), as well as NoSQL solutions like MongoDB, Kafka, Redis.
- Familiarity with deploying and maintaining containers to containerization platforms (Kubernetes, AWS EKS, GCP GKE, Openshift).
- Experience in software migration, integrating legacy systems into modern software architectures.
- Coding and scripting skills.
- Expertise in data governance practices, ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.
- Experience with cloud-based providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Computing).
- Commitment to best practices. We’ll want your expert opinion on things like operational processes, DevOps, deployments
- You actively participate in team conversations, and discussions and facilitate ceremonies.
- Strong ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams and communicate complex IT and software development concepts.
